With over 10 years in practice, Dr. Allison Serrano, ND, L.Ac. has spent the last 4 years bringing her integrative approach to patients on the Monterey Peninsula. She takes the time to understand each patient's full health history before recommending a path forward. She believes optimal health comes from blending the diagnostic rigor of Western medicine with the personalized, whole-body approach of naturopathic and Eastern medicine.
As a doctor trained in Naturopathic, Eastern, and Functional Medicine, in addition to Western Medicine, Dr. Serrano incorporates her breadth of knowledge to help her patients reach optimal health. She creates customized treatment plans for each patient, incorporating a variety of effective integrative and natural therapies such as nutrition, Functional Medicine Testing, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Testosterone Replacement Therapy, Western and Chinese Herbal Medicine, acupuncture, IV Nutrient Therapy, and hormone optimization.
Background & Personal
Before moving to Monterey, Dr. Serrano was in private practice in Newport Beach, California, and on staff at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine through the Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Health. She now lives in Pacific Grove with her husband and two sons, and in her free time loves to run, hike around beautiful Monterey and Carmel, and spend time with her family.
